| Amtrak 4 Southwest Chief pulls out from LaPlata, MO at 9:56 on 01/22/2017 past the APRHF Lookout Point at MP312.67 of the historic ATSF (now BNSF) line between Kansas City and Fort Madison. The stone abutment wall is from the old Wabash flyover. Lucky to catch the 822 Amtrak Generation III paint scheme Heritage Unit on point. This unit led the 40th Anniversary Amtrak Exhibition train back in 2011. |
